Our annual Black History Month show will be held on February 17th, 2021 at 10:00 am. Attire was sent out in a separate email. Parents are welcome to join and be a part of the celebration virtually via Instagram Live.

The NYC DOE Application Portal has opened for 3K and Pre-K!
The application process is not first-come, first-served, and all applications received by the deadline will be treated equally. Families with children born in 2017 can apply to Pre-K by the April 7 deadline, and families with children born in 2018 can apply to 3-K by the April 30 deadline.
Students will be taking a “Journey Through the Heart” as we discuss Heart Health Month. Please remember to head over to our Instagram to see the posts about the fantastic activities students will partake in that day.
The Scholastic Books will be on sale from February 8-18. Parents are encouraged to circle the books from the catalog and send the money via E-wallet.
To include families, parents can come to the school from 2:00 pm- 3:00 pm ONLY during specified days. Please have your vaccination card-present and a mask.

On the 1st of February, staff and students will celebrate Lunar New Year. OKP will hold a parade in the school where students will display their Lunar projects. Our Kids Place will be closed on Monday, May 31, 2021 in observance of Memorial Day. We appreciate all those who have lost their lives fighting for our country. Enjoy your day off. See you on Tuesday!
Our Kids Place will be closed from March 29th – April 2nd for Spring Recess. School will resume on April 5th, 2021. Enjoy your Spring Break!
Students can dress in their festive Spring attire to visit and take a photo with the Easter Bunny! As a fundraiser, we will sell those pictures for $5.00 from March 24 – 26, 2021.
Due to the forecast for inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, Our Kids Place Country Day will be closed tomorrow, February 2, 2021.
All Pre-K students should follow remote learning plans that were sent on Friday. Please use ClassDojo if you need any assistance from your child’s teacher.
